Informal free open water swims generally take place every Sunday
West Side Maui: 9:00 AM at Kahekili Beach Park, also known as "Airport Beach". This beach is north of Black Rock in Kaanapali.
South Side Maui: 8:15 AM meeting at South Makena Beach Park (the beach fronting the Maui Prince Hotel, just north of Big Beach in Makena). The Makena Beach Sunday swim is maintained by Maui Masters Swim Club - www.swimmaui.com

Valley Isle Masters Swimmers are part of the Hawaii Masters Swimming Assoc. and is governed by USMS. Each member MUST register annually with the club (VIMS) and with USMS. In order to swim in 2010 both club and USMS forms must be completed; either online, given to your coach, or mail to: Valley Isle Masters Swimmers, c/o Janet Renner, PO Box 424, Puunene, HI 96784
USMS annual membership is $40. USMS membership includes Swim Magazine subscription, approval to swim in USMS sanctioned events, secondary insurance, and more. Click here for easy on-line registration.
The online registration includes your USMS, LMSC, and the VIMS registration ($65 total). VIMS annual registration fee is $25.
